S IOHA'-NES B • St. John standing facing, holding cross tipped sceptre and crowned rampant lion, 3.49g, 10h (Felke 108; Marbach 46; Klein 30 = Noss 52; UBS 65, 5 September 2006, lot 8 - "Heidelberg Mint" - 2,500 CHF; Fb. 1966), slight wave to flan but with much peripheral and residual lustre, a pleasing very fine, the obverse better, an evidently scarcer variety unknown to Memmesheimer or Saurmasche, in NGC holder, graded AU58 (Cert. #6768684-036)
