The Augusta Collection of European Gold Coins | NGC AU55 | Germany, as King (1440) and latterly Holy Roman Emperor, Friedrich III von Habsburg (1452-1493), Goldgulden, 1469-1487, Nördlingen, Philipp von Weinsberg [Mintmaster], MONETA : NOVA - NORDLINGES, annulet colon stops and gothic letters, nimbate St. John the Baptist holding book and Agnus Dei over shield, rev. + FRIDRICVS ROMAN IMPERATOR, the D appearing as a ligate retrograde E, orb in double-banded trilobe, 3.25g, 6h (Schulten 2405; Fb. 1794), honey-golden tone, good very fine, the longest ruling King of Germany and Holy Roman Emperor, in NGC holder, graded AU55 (Cert. #6768684-034)
