Henry I 'Beauclerc' (1100-1135), 'Annulets and Piles' Type, Penny, c. 1105, Canterbury, Winedæg, HENRIC RE, crowned bust facing, annulets by neck, rev. + PINEDI ON CNT, cross fleury with annulet in centre, in each angle, three pellets on a pile which rests on the inner circle, 0.90g [13.89grns], 6h (North 860; BMC IV; Spink 1265), porous and crimped, otherwise struck details bolder than fine, excessively rare, with only one other recorded for this moneyer
