Guernsey Identity Card, No. 3481, issued to 'Wilfred Harold Bishop', with his photograph stapled to the card and German overstamps, rather worn, thus fine

Wilfred Harold Bishop was born on Guernsey on 24 January 1894. During the Great War he served with 'D' Company, 6th Battalion, Royal Irish Regiment (No. 3161) and thence the 1st Contingent of the Royal Guernsey Light Infantry (No. 579) on formation as a Corporal on the Western Front (1914-15 Star Trio).

During the Second World War he lived at La Raonee, St Peter Port.
