Isaka Mukibi belonged to the African Native Medical Corps, formed of 10 British and 1,500 African personnel. He is listed upon his M.I.C. as a Staff Sergeant with the unit. One of three specialist units that recruited Africans to work as medical staff during the Great War, in April 1917 the A.N.M.C. absorbed the Uganda Native Medical Corps. Around 60 percent of the Corps came from Ganda with some exceptional recruits having received medical training at Mengo, with the majority educated at mission schools; sold together with copied research comprising London Gazette entry, a screenshot of a website related to the A.N.M.C. and a medal roll extract.
