Ltd., 4½% Mortgage Debenture stock, certificate for [£450], 190[9], #1333, attractive 4 funnel steamer at top, possibly the Lusitania, blue, embossed seal at bottom. Together with another example dated 19[15], black, without vignette, and an ordinary stock certificate, 19[54]. Founded in 1838 and has absorbed numerous companies during the last 150 years, including White Star. Together with Great Ship Company Limited, one share, 1859 and British & Continental Syndicate Ltd., 189[8]. VF (5).
