Henry Valentine Scott was born in the Winter 1917 in Cumberland and served in the Royal Air Force, being transferred to the Administrative and Special Duties branch on 5 December 1941 as a Pilot Officer, later promoted Flight Lieutenant. He died in the Summer of 1949 at Newcastle-Upon-Tyne; sold together with a riband bar, handwritten research and copied research including census data and a London Gazette entry.
