(x) Army L.S. & G.C., V.R. (27676 Gunner W. Day Depot Bde R.A.),

William Day attested with the 9th Battery, Royal Artillery on 29 May 1952 as a Gunner and Driver. He saw service in the Crimea for eleven months with the rank of Gunner, during which time he was serving with 9th Brigade. Day was discharged on 3 June 1873; sold together with copied service records.
