Army L.S. and G.C., V.R. (527. Tp-Cpl-Mjr J. Etheridge. 1st LifeGds), nearly extremely fine

John Etheridge was born at Horsham, Sussex in 1816 and enlisted with the 1st Life Guards at Windsor on 30 September 1834. Serving as a Trooper until 27 April 1947, he was appointed Corporal and later Troop Corporal-Major on 7 July 1954. Etheridge was discharged on 16 November 1960.
