[M.M.] Edinburgh Gazette 19 June 1919.

Arthur James Rawlins was born at Winson Green in June 1896 and lived at 81 Rosefield Rd, Smethwick, Staffordshire prior to the war. Entering the war in France with the Royal Warwickshire Regiment he was later posted to the 8th Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment with the service number 37895. Demobilised on 18 March 1919 Rawlins died not long after the war in June 1924; sold together with an Edinburgh Gazette extract, note the recipient's name is misspelled 'Rawlings' in the Gazette entry, the Regiment number matches Private Rawlins.
