Robert Guy was born on 5 December 1897 and he enlisted with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve on 11 September 1916. Serving ashore for the duration of the war he was demobilised on 19 March 1919; sold together with copied research.

Herbert Alvin Shipperly was born at Gayton, Northamptonshire on 7 July 1880. Enlisting on 2 November 1905 he served on a number of vessels including Diadem, Black Prince and Blenheim prior to the Great War. Shipperly joined H.M.S. Bacchante and served with her throughout the early years of the war in the Dardannelles. Leaving on 10 February 1916 he continued to serve until after the war being demobilised on 5 June 1921; sold together with copied service papers.

Arthur Hawthorne enrolled with the Royal Navy on 20 October 1914 and served until 28 February 1919, seeing service aboard H.M.S. Hannibal; sold together with a copied service record.
