1885-92 group of covers (5) with unusual cancellations comprising 1885 (27 Jul.) envelope bearing 2d. lilac cancelled by 'ln' of Lyttelton used locally, 1886 (10 May) envelope bearing 2d. lilac tied by "16" in bars of Kaiapoi, 1886 (10 Sept.) envelope to the U.K. bearing 1d. rose (6) tied by 'v' over '4' in bars of Kumara, 1888 (25 Jul.) envelope to Napir with 'waitara' cancellations and 1892 (21 Nov.) bearing 2d. lilac tied by '26' in barred oval of Auckland from Mangawhare to Waipukurau; a few stain marks or other peripheral faults, otherwise a good to fine group
