1915 large size envelope registered and paid for return receipt from Peking addressed to Tientsin, franked with ½$ on 1m. carmine (upper right corner faulty), 4c. on 10pf. red and 2c. on 5pf. green (3), all individually cancelled by "Peking" c.d.s. for "13/12/15", paying the correct rate of 60c. (40c. for a letter between 135 and 150 grams, additional 10c. for registered mail and 10c. for return receipt), alongside hand endorsed "Einschreiben mit Rückschein" and Peking registration label, the reverse with Tientsin arrival c.d.s. for the same day. Few expected faults including part of the reverse reduced, and creasing, nevertheless one of the very few recorded registered letters with paid return receipt used during the war.
