1901 envelope registered from Hankau to Sellieres (France), franked on the reverse by 1898 10pf. overprint "China" (6, vertical strip of four and two singles), neatly cancelled by "Hankau Deutsche Post" c.d.s. for "19/4/01", alongside hand endorsed "Expediteur Penelau? Railway", with Dijon transit c.d.s for "29 Mai 01" and Selliers arrival c.d.s for the same day. Cover is opened on three sides for display, few usual faults including ageing, nevertheless an interesting item to a scarce destination.
