George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1725, second laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, stops on obverse, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6.03g, 5h (Bull 1597; ESC 1183; Spink 3649), subtle adjustment beneath truncation and rub on jowel, otherwise handsomely cabinet toned, good very fine, albeit the date struck a touch soft, a pleasing coin
