(x) NGC MS61 | George IV (1820-1830), Crown, 1822 TERTIO, laureate head left, rev. St. George and Dragon, date in exergue, WWP under broken lance, 7h (Bull 2320; ESC 252; Spink 3805), a smoky and darkly cabinet toned example with muted residual mint flare under slate gray surfaces, die rub to highest points otherwise a pleasingly good extremely fine, in NGC holder, very strictly graded MS61 (Cert. #2819051-002)
