(x) NGC AU53 | George II (1727-1760), 'Roses and Plumes' Crown, 1732 SEXTO, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, ten strings to harp, lettered edge upwards, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 306; Bull 1660; ESC 117; Spink 3686), a scratch before cuirass, with rub to high points and sporadic contact marks, otherwise toned, a bolder very fine, in NGC holder, graded AU53 (Cert. #4333252-003)
