Victory Medal 1914-1919 (348089 Gnr. B. Mason. R.A.), very fine

Bert Mason was born at Cathays, Cardiff in 1893, the son of Thomas Mason of 63 Holton Road, Barry, Glamorgan. Working as a hairdresser prior to enlisting at Barry Dock, Mason was also a member of the Territorial force. He joined the war with 49 Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery and was killed in action on 2 October 1917; sold together with copied research including M.I.C., Medal Rolls and census data.
