British War Medal 1914-20 (Lieut. J. W. H. Morgan. R.A.F.), about very fine

William John Hamilton Morgan initially served as a Second Lieutenant with the South Wales Borderers before transferring to the Royal Air Force with the rank of Lieutenant. He appears to have proceeded to Egypt in early 1917 with his battalion, later flying R.E.8's with 34 Squadron R.F.C./R.A.F. His British War and Allied Victory medals were sent to him at 'Bryntawe' in Breconshire.
