British War Medal 1914-20 (Capt. W. L. Woodward.), good very fine

William Lawrence Woodward served in France from August 1914, initially as a Gunner in 108 Heavy Battery Royal Garrison Artillery, before later being commissioned into the same regiment. He is additionally entitled to the 1914 Star and Allied Victory Medal, with a forwarding address on his M.I.C. noted as 80 Adderley Road, Leicester.
