1914-15 Star (Pte J. Coffey S.A. Irish. Rgt.), good very fine

Formed in 1914, the South African Irish Regiment saw service in German South-West Africa, with volunteers from the unit later also seeing service in East Africa under the auspices of 9th South African Infantry. The regiment was disbanded on 31 December 1919.
