James Arthur Hallam served with 2nd Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment) entering the war in France on 8 September 1914. Later transferred to the Labour Corps he finally moved to the Royal Defence Corps. Hallam died on 10 February 1920; sold together with copied photographs and Commonwealth War Graves details.
