Cyprian Herbert Taylor was born on 14 July 1881 at Rotherham, Yorkshire. He lived at 602 Green Lanes, Hornsey, London and qualified as a Dentist at the Middlesex & National Dental Hospital in 1906, having commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in the 2nd Volunteer Battalion, Royal Fusiliers in February 1903. Practising at 13 Wimpole Street, he was made a Freeman of the City of London on 24 January 1911 and was also a member of the Harringay Lodge of Freemasons.
During the Great War he served on the Western Front in 1915 and was placed on the temporary Half-Pay List due to ill health in November 1915. By 1920, he had published Necrosis of the Jaw and died on 1 September 1944; sold together with Duke of Sussex Grand Master Testimonial gilt Medal, together with copied research.
