Arthur Willimont Beauchamp was born at Islington, London on 23 December 1982, the son of Arthur and Ellen Beauchamp of 28 Theburton Street, Islington. He is noted as working as a Clerk at a News Agency in 1911 while living at 231 Melfort Road, Thornton Heath, Surrey. Attesting with the 10th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers on 29 August 1914, he entered the war in France on 30 July 1915. He is noted as killed in action on 15 July 1916, during the Battle of Pozières and buried at the Serre Road Cemetery; sold together with copied research including an extract from the 1911 census, Commonwealth War Graves details, M.I.C. and a copied photograph of a Great War Memorial featuring his name and the details of his death.
