Albert St. Ledger was born at Wednesfield, Staffordshire. Serving with the 15th Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment) during the Great War, he was killed on 19 August 1917. Buried at Villers-Faucon Communal Cemetery, St. Ledger was survived by his brother A. St. Ledger of 4 Price Street, Smethwick, Staffordshire; sold together with copied research including Commonwealth War Graves details and original photographs of the recipient's gravesite and memorial scroll.
