(g) The St. Albans Collection of English Gold Coins | NGC MS63 | George III (1760-1820), 'Military' Guinea, 1813, sixth laureate head right, rev. crowned shield within Garter, edge chevron milled, 8.41g, 12h (MCE 404; Farey 1390; EGC 737; Stratos 113; Spink 3730), arrestingly brilliant even for this frequently encountered 'high grade' one year type, notes of ochre-red encroaching from peripheries, otherwise an exceptional example for type, good extremely fine, and truly much as struck, a highly prized type in modern commerce and rare even thus, with NGC 'St Albans' Certification, graded MS63 (#6295553-038)
