The St. Albans Collection of English Gold Coins | NGC UNC Details | George I (1714-1727), Guinea, 1721, fourth laureate head right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, six strings to harp, six hearts, emblem-adorned ornamental sceptres in angles, edge obliquely milled, 8.31g, 5h (MCE 253; Farey 650; EGC 514; Spink 3631), smoothed on cheek, a tiny test cut at reverse 3 o'clock and once lightly wiped, otherwise residually lustrous and most handsomely struck up and uniform, almost extremely fine, with NGC 'St Albans' Certification, harshly graded UNC Details ~ Obverse Repaired (#6295553-034)
