DI' GRA' REX AnGL Z FRA', single saltire stops, a quatrefoil of saltires after FRA, St Michael vanquishing Dragon, rev. PER CRVCE' TVA SALVA nOS XPE' RED', saltire stops, double after PER, SALVA, and nOS, ship surmounted by square-topped shield and mast dividing h and Rose, 5.23g, 9h, m.m. pheon/pheon (Schneider I, 542-544; North 1698; Spink 2187), slight flan crimping to peripheries, otherwise on a pleasingly full round flan, notably striking 'freshness' to fields and devices accentuated by a subtle honey-golden hue, an historic scuff to rigging, otherwise good very fine, with NGC 'St Albans' Certification, generously graded MS64 (#6295553-005)
