1851-52 a group of Parliamentary Papers relating to the perforation of postage stamps and gives an interesting insight into the instigation of these machines and the disappointment of Henry Archer for his lack of remuneration for his invention. 1855 (25 May) letter from Mr Muntz (M.P. for Birmingham, supporting the use of perforating machines) and extolling their virtues plus some other items.
