A small selection which includes 1793 entire to Naples with a good strike of "bolton/le-moors" with rate mark and London transit; 1847 entire to Keithley with 1841 1d. with smudged cancellation and a good strike of "bury lancs" c.d.s. in bluish on reverse (reputedly carried on the first train from Leeds to Skipton); fine undated "colne" on 1842 entire to Preston; Manchester with 1796 horseshoe "manchester" on entire to Rochdale, "185/manchester" 1808 and 1810 c.d.s. on entire to Halifax, 1821 entire to Rochdale bearing a good strike of "paid/at/manchester" in circle in red, 1825 Manchester mileage c.d.s. and undated Mirfield on 1845 wrapper to Dewsbury bearing 1841 1d. plate 47, SA (good to large margins.
