The Remarkable "Ellerby Area" Hoard of English Gold Coins (1610-1727) | George I (1714-1727), Guinea, 1722, fourth laureate head right, nose to B in HIB, Roman Is in legends, rev. crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, six hearts to Hanoverian shield, edge obliquely milled, 8.35g [128.9grns], 6h (PAS: YORYM-18E848 = BM 2019 T668/244 this coin; MCE 255; Farey 660; EGC 517; Spink 3631), hairline scratch through bust and some weakness to Irish shield, otherwise bright and lustrous, very fine and better but for rub to hairline, with NGC 'Ellerby' Certification (#6380983-244)
