A wonderful group of manuscript cancellations on 1841 1d. covers (18) of which thirteen are in combination with other cancellations including combination with Maltese Cross numbered '1' and dramatic readdressed cover bearing 1d. strip of six enthusiastically scribbled on upon redirection; on perforated 1d. red covers (10) of which five are cancelled by manuscript only; on 1841 2d. cover in combination with numeral; on surface printed issue covers going abroad (4); on postal stationery (1) and on railway covers (5). A rare and valuable group, difficult to replicate, much of it with B.P.A. Certificates (11)
