1844 (21 Jan.) entire letter (lighlty stained) from Weymouth to Bermuda, marked "Per Halifax Mail Steam Packet", rated "1/-", showing despatch, London and Liverpool (25.1) datestamps where it was put on the Hibernia to Halifax, then per the Roseway to Bermuda; 1845 (3 Jan.) entire letter from London to Bermuda, rated "1/-", put aboard the Cambria at Liverpool on her maiden voyage to Halifax, then per the Velocity to Bermuda, 1849 (31 May) entire letter from London to John Harvey Darrell in Bermuda, rated "1/-", put on board the America at Liverpool to Halifax, then per the Kestrel to Bermuda (this was her only voyage as she was lost off the coast of Newfoundland a month later); and 1850 (21 Mar.) mourning envelope (with letter) from Halifax to Bermuda, rated "4" and showing "halifax/paid/nova scotia" d.s. in red
