NGC MS63 | William IV (1830-1837), Shilling, 1834, bare head right, rev. value in wreath, flat top 3 in date, milled edge, 5.64g, 5h (ESC 1269 [R2]; Spink 3835), lightly fingermarked to obverse and a scattering of hairline marks, nevertheless a beautiful example, richly toned with flashy brilliant fields, a superbly good extremely fine; in the solemn belief of the cataloguer a Proof striking in NGC holder, mysteriously graded MS63 (Cert. #6380972-001)
