REX •, B .' over obliterated R in HIB, third crowned, draped and cuirassed bust right, wearing ruff, XX behind, rev. • FLORENT • CONCORDIA • REGNA • (m.m.) • crowned oval-garnished shield, dividing C-R, 9.08g [140.2grns], 8h, m.m. plume (Drabble 182; Ryan 445 = Basmadjieff 50 same obverse die; Brigadier Lake 22 different dies; Brooker -; Schneider II, 134 same dies; North 2150; Spink 2690), of exquisite workmanship from finely incised dies, on a neat, round flan, the only obverse die to be termed a 'Proof' by Schneider, fabulously uniform, lustrous and richly toned, and most pleasing extremely fine, very rare and immensely desirable as a cabinet centre piece
