IhC AVTEM TRANCIENS P MEDIVM ILORVM IBAT [sic], annulet stops, but not before IBAT, ornate cross fleury, crowned leopards in angles, E at centre, 7.78g [120.2grns], 11h, p.m. -/crown (LAL AK/74; Doubleday 78 this coin; North 1173; Spink 1489), a flan split at 4 o'clock, a scratch below pyx mark on reverse and partial striking softness across aged dies resulting in flat portraiture, otherwise of full weight, residually lustrous and a bolder fine to almost very fine as issued, with an esteemed pedigree
