(x) The Jean-Marie Vanmeerbeeck Collection of Numismatic Portraits from Medieval Flanders and Tudor England | Charles II (1660-1685), Half-Guinea, 1684, second laureate bust facing right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, interlinked C's at centre, emblem-adorned sceptres in angles, three strings to Irish harp, edge obliquely milled, 4.15g, 7h (MCE 114; Schneider II, 450; EGC 308; Spink 3348), some adjustment to peripheries, otherwise exquisitely lustrous and remarkably fresh for a 17th Century fractional gold issue, about extremely fine for issue, very rare thus
