TEM | PORIS | FILIA, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 2.11g, 12h, m.m. pomegranate (North 1960; Spink 2492), some superficial scratches behind bust, otherwise a truly outstanding example for type, the central devices beautifully uniform and further accentuated by rich dark cabinet toning, a really pleasingly bold extremely fine and much as issued
