John Llewellyn Parry was born on 13 March 1895 at Holyhead, Anglesey, he joined the Merchant Navy as an Apprentice aged 16 and served as a Second Officer during the Great War (No. 848809). Having served during the Second World War, he claimed his Great War Medals on 23 July 1948 and died at Bridgend in 1965; sold with photocopied service details which include a photograph of him.
