Arthur Frank Harrap served in France with the 10th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers from 31 July 1915 and was wounded by a high explosive laceration to his left leg on 8 September 1916. Recovered from his wounds he was latterly commissioned 2nd Lieutenant (WO 339/109123 refers) in early 1918 and had his Medals issued to him at home at Lyndhurst, Honor Oak Park.
