Great Britain: Stockton New Theatre Company Ltd., £10 share, 18[66], #54, black, orinted by Waterlow & Sons. The Georgian Theatre, open since 1776, was rebuilt and renamed 'New Theatre Royal', located just off the High Street, opened in 1866. The company commenced leasing the theatre but by 1871 it was in liquidation and the theatre put up for auction. It was acquired by the Salvation Army in 1874 and its life as theatre ended. GVF.
