Switzerland: Palace Hotel, Montana (Switzerland) Ltd., £1 ordinary shares, fully paid, 190[19], #63, signed by Sir Henry S. Lunn and William H. Lunn as directors, ornate border black, capital increased by hand. Sir Henry Simpson Lunn (1859-1939), founder of one of England's largest travel companies, Lunn Poly. His first tours were in Switzerland in 1902 which led to his acquisition of this Hotel. Founded Alpine Sports Ltd. and the Alpine Ski Club. His company Sir Henry Lunn Travel merged with the Polytechnic Touring Association in the 1960's to form Lunn Poly. VF and rare.
