1871 (18 Apr.) envelope ex the Pescia correspondence to Genoa, bearing 4a. pair and single each cancelled by diamond of 16 thin bars, showing unframed "p.d" in red and, on reverse, "mandalay" c.d.s. partly overstruck by Calcutta and arrival datestamps; some minor stains though most attractive and believed to be the earliest known c.d.s. of Mandalay
