1883 (19 Dec.) envelope (reduced slightly at top and part of upper flap missing) from a Captain addressed to a Lieutenant in hospital at Basse Terre, Guadeloupe, carried at the concessionary rate of 20c. with well margined 20c. tied by dotted lozenge, showing despatch c.d.s. and blue "corr.d.arm./fort-de-france" octagonal datestamp alongside.
