Royal Academy of Music, AR award medal of Vera Bishop Emerton, 1922, Apollo bust right, harp, rev. ROYAL ACADEMY OF MUSIC INSTITUTED 1822, within wreath VERA B. EMERTON ORGAN 1922, with suspension loop and ribbon, 41mm, 38.12g, blue mark across the face and field of obverse, accompanied with a letter from the Royal Aacademy of Music dated 1988.

Vera Bishop Emerton (1899-1987), was born in Chelsea, London. She entered the Royal Academy of Music upon winning the Ada Lewis Scholarship in 1920 to study piano and the organ. The scholarship expired in 1923 at which stage she lef the academy.
15 May 1918, The Era, At the inuaguration of the summer term at Trinity College of Music on Wednesday addressed the students...After the address, the presentation took place of the Nasmith Medal for Diligence and Regularity, to Vera Bishop Emerton.
