David Krasnopkie entitled to a Pair only for his Great War service with the 38th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers. He was a member of one of five Battalions of Jewish volunteers, (38th-42nd (Service) Battalions Royal Fusiliers, which comprised the 'Jewish Legion', who had the 'J' prefix to their Army Number and saw service against the Ottomans.
