Horace Cox served with 1/4th Battalion, Cheshire Regiment, entering the war in Gallipoli on 4 August 1915. Transferring to the 2/4th Battalion, King's Shropshire Light Infantry with the number 203765. Returning to the 2/7th Battalion, Cheshire Regiment (No. 293468) and later 2nd Garrison Battalion, Cheshire Regiment (No. 81686). Finally he joined the Royal Engineers with the number 4115645; sold together with copied research including MIC and regimental rolls.
