A framed campaign group of four awarded to Private H. Raines, Gloucestershire Regiment, who was killed in action on 22 November 1915

1914-15 Star, sealed in frame but surely named '2254 Pte. H. Raines. Glouc. R.'; British War and Victory Medals (2254 Pte. H. Raines. Glouc. R.); Great War Memorial Plaque (Henry Raines), together with his Memorial Scroll in the name of 'Pte. Henry Raines Gloucestershire Regiment', the Medals in the base and the Scroll in the lid of glazed wooden frame, extremely fine and a poignant display (4)

Henry Raines served in France with the 1st Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment and was killed in action on 22 November 1915. He is commemorated upon the Loos Memorial.
