Arthur William Hinton was the son of William Hinton of 2 Fisher Street, Dudley Port, Tipton, Staffordshire. Having enlisted at Lichfield with 2nd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment, Hinton was killed in action on 23 October 1918 and is buried at Romeries Communal Cemetery.
