Presentation Items
Presentation silver pocket watch, Inscribed on the case "INDIA 1905 -6" below the cypher of Prince George, Prince of Wales. The engraved inscription within the lid reads "Presented to Mr William Ireland by HRH The Princess of Wales at Lucknow on 26th Feby 1906". William Ireland was employed on the Indian Railways.
The pocket watch is in good cosmetic condition, the bar face has hairline cracks. The movement, possibly unmarked IWC, is marked "Crown/S & Co" 334924 mod. depose. The inner cases marked "351940 0.935" and Swiss hallmarks.
